Rules and Regulations

  • The Grand Prix Competition will be from Friday January 13th to Sunday January 15th
  • The Grand Prix Round is combined for all disciplines
  • Only Expert and Virtuoso winners can participate in the Grand Prix Round
  • This is a live-online competition- Zoom and Yamaha Disklavier formats
  • Winners of the Grand Prix Round will receive cash prize, medal and certificate
  • There is only 1 category: OPEN CHOICE
  • Participants who won both solo and duo/duet/quartet or chamber are eligible to sign up for both in a separate entry and entry fee.
  • The deadline to sign up is December 31st, 2022
  • All payments of application and registration fees are final, and non-refundable.
  • Jury decisions are final, and cannot be appealed. Notes takes by the jury are considered confidential and will not be revealed to anyone outside of the jury, including contestants.
  • IAPMT reserved the right to use contestants’ photos and videos for professional and promotional uses. By submitting your photos and videos during the application process, you agree to waive all rights and claims to said media.

  • Sunday Jan 15th 7pm: Grand Prix Winners’ concert and award ceremony Munson Hall at Azusa Pacific University
